双向钢人论证
Two-Sided Steelman is for decisions where both options appear reasonable and a simple pros-and-cons list is not enough. It strengthens both cases, identifies the real disagreement and key variable, then waits for one answer before making a clear recommendation.
The decision I need to make is: 【Describe the problem, the two options, the target outcome, and real-world constraints】.
Do not rush to answer, and do not assume I have framed the problem correctly. First conduct a two-sided steelman analysis:
1. Restate, in the strongest and most complete form, the choice I actually need to make.
2. For each direction, provide the strongest supporting reasons, applicable conditions, greatest benefit, largest risk, and the hardest objection to answer.
3. Identify the real disagreement, the key variable most likely to change the conclusion, and the information still needed.
4. Ask me only the single question most likely to change the conclusion.
After I reply, give a clear judgment, the reasoning, the conditions where it applies, and the next action.
After copying, replace 【Describe the problem, the two options, the target outcome, and real-world constraints】 with your actual question.
