MarkItDown-MCP is the MCP server in Microsoft's MarkItDown repository. Its `convert_to_markdown(uri)` tool converts local files, web pages, or data URIs into Markdown for LLM workflows.

Serena is an open-source MCP toolkit for coding agents. It uses language servers or an optional JetBrains backend to provide symbol search, reference lookup, rename, and structured code editing, with official setup for Codex CLI and App.

MCP Inspector is the official Model Context Protocol debugging tool. Its Web, CLI, and TUI clients connect to MCP servers and inspect tools, resources, prompts, transports, authentication, and MCP Apps.
